Nafsika Kouzeli, Founder H.OPE
I was born and raised in Athens, but in recent years, Tinos has stolen my heart. So, I packed a suitcase full of 'dreams' and moved permanently to this island in 2020.
Tourism is a way of life for me; for as long as I can remember, I have been involved in it. Starting in 2000, with the Aldemar Hotel Group, I worked in various positions, initially as support staff in the hotel’s linen department. Later, leveraging my experience in accounting, I took on the role of cashier, followed by positions in reservations and reception, eventually working my way up to the management office.
Moving from the Peloponnese and the Aldemar HG, I relocated to Mykonos as the assistant hotel manager, and later to Santorini as the office assistant manager for TUI, one of the largest tour operating companies in Greece.
By 2013, having gained experience in every small detail of hotel operations, from the day-to-day functions to negotiating large contracts with travel agents, I took on the role of hotel manager at a hotel in Paros.
In 2016, the HotelBrain Group became a part of my life, where I took on the role of Director of Hotel Management for 9 hotels across two islands, Paros and Tinos. I have been involved in everything from pre-opening projects to day-to-day operations in many of these hotels, and I continue to do so to this day.
In my many years of experience, I have started from the lowest position and worked through all departments of a hotel, gaining a clear understanding and knowledge of how a hotel should operate. For over 20 years, my sole purpose has been to ensure customer satisfaction, train skillful staff, and keep hotel owners happy.
It was under this premise that I decided to found H.OPE, a company with which I intend to bring 'HOPE' to the tourist industry. Our company provides personalized proposals to every hotel owner and potential hotel owner, utilizing my experience and connections. I propose strategies for the proper, practical, effective, and smooth operation of hotels, as well as strategic partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, and anything else a tourism organization might need, saving both time and money for every owner.
